Peshawar: July 05, 2011: 73rd Training Course of FEF Academy for Female Lecturers of Government Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been concluded at Peshawar Campus of FEF Academy. 32 Female Lecturers of Government Girls Degree Colleges and FEF Girls Degree Colleges of the province were imparted 34 days training. Title of the course was “Professional Development Course”. Mr. Jamil Amjad, the Managing Director Frontier Education Foundation was the Chief Guest of the Closing & Certificate Awarding Ceremony. He urged upon the College Faculty to apply, at their work places, all the methods & techniques they acquired during the courses to uplift the standard of education in colleges. He said that government is investing on teachers for their professional development to maximize their expertise for the desired raise in the standards of education. Mr. Jamil Amjad said that Frontier Education Foundation will soon commence the Pre-service Training courses at FEF Academy Kohat. The recommendees of Provincial Public Service Commission will join Academy for 60 days training, who after successful completion will be posted as Lecturers in various Government Colleges of the Province. He stressed for the character building of the students, as it was the utmost responsibility of the teachers. |

Peshawar: June 04, 2011: Trainees of the 73rd FEFA Training Course visited the office of the Secretary Higher Education Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Saturday, June 04, 2011. Mrs. Farah Hamid Khan, the secretary HE GoKP met the visiting trainees. She informed that department has taken many steps to raise the standard of higher education in the colleges of the province. She said that improving the nature & status of training courses of the college faculty at FEF Academy and launch of 4-year degree courses in 16 government colleges of the province were included among those efforts. She told that the 4-year degree courses will be extended up to all government colleges, in a phased-wise manner. The Project Management Unit (PMU) had been established for the purpose, Mrs. Farah Hamid said. During the meeting officers of the FEF Academy & Higher Education Department were also present. |

Prof., 2 Lecturers of the Government Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 1 Assist. Prof. from Government College of FATA. On Thursday, May 12, 2011 Closing & Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the course was held. Qazi Muhammad Asad, Minister for Higher Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Frontier Education Foundation, was the Chief Guest. The Minister congratulated the course participants for their successful completion of the training course and urged upon them to serve the nation by utilizing their potentials & professional skills, enhanced during the course with full devotion to bring a meaningful positive change, as is the need of time. He said that the Government was fully aware of its responsibilities for uplifting the standard of education which would never be possible without raising the standards of the faculty. He assured the audience that the Government was fully aware of the problems. Science Exhibition for the year 2010-11, which was held at Frontier College for Women Peshawar the students of said college have won the Ist position in the events of Qerat and in Geography (Model), while in the Zoology (Model) FEF DCG Dabgari grabbed the 3rd position.
Moreover Peshawar Inter Collegiate Girls Sports Competition of B.I.S.E Peshawar for the year 2010-11, was held on 1st December 2010 for the event of Table Tennis in which students of the said college have participated and won the 3rd position.

Frontier Education Foundation would take all necessary steps to ensure effectiveness and quality of training offered by FEF Academy. The Managing Director FEF Mr. Jamil Amjad was addressing the participants of 66th FEFA Training Course on the occasion of their closing ceremony. Mr. Jamil Amjad, appreciated the role of FEF Academy in imparting training to the teaching and management faculty of Government colleges since 2003. He informed the participants that the number of trained personnel was 1699 which was not sufficient as compared to a total number of 4000 plus staff of Government colleges to be trained through In-service training program. The Managing Director FEF, highlighted the importance of training said that training was essential to improve the quality of teaching and standards of academic performance. He also said that Character building of students should also be given special attention for which teachers could play a significant role as they were considered to be the role models for the students. Mr. Jamil Amjad also informed that a purpose-oriented new building was constructed in KDA Kohat for conducting In-service training of college faculty; he added that whatever other resources required for improving the quality and impact of training would be provided. |

Colleges participated and successfully completed the course. On Wednesday, June 24, 2009 Closing & Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the course was held at BISE Abbottabad.
Mr. Hifzur Rehman Kazi, the Managing Director, Frontier Education Foundation, was the Chief Guest. He congratulated the course participants for their successful completion of the training course and urged upon them to serve the nation by utilizing their potentials & professional skills, enhanced during the course with full devotion to bring a meaningful positive change. Closing ceremony of 3 week long 57th training course of FEF Academy tilled as Professional Course for Staff Development (PCSD) was held from 2nd April,2009. Total 18 participants from Govt Colleges including 11 Lecturers, 03 DPE’s & 04 Asst.Professors have received training in the following areas.

The closing & certificate distribution ceremony was started with the recitation from Holly Quran by Lecturer in Physics, Mrs, Shagufta Begum GPGGC Kohat. Ms Saeeda Bano Director FEFA presented welcome note & briefed about the objectives of the training. Presentative of the trainees Ms. Robina Hussain Lec in English, FCW Peshawar, Congratulates the FEFA for arranging a successful course.
Mr. Siraj Ahmed District Coordination Officer (DCO) Kohat, who was the chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of FEFA in the field of teaching training in province. He assured his every effort in supporting the only teachers training institute FEFA. He urged upon the teaching faculty of Govt Colleges of NWFP performs their professional duties with zeal & commitment.
Later on certificate were distributed among the successful female participants.
