Opening ceremony of FTC 68th (PCSD-47) was held on June 02, 2010 at 10:30 hrs in the training hall, hostel block BISE Abbotabad. 43 female lecturers of different subjects from various Govt. Girls Degree Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province registered them as course participants.

Professor Dr. Himayat Ullah Khan Chairman BISE Abbotabad, was the Chief Guest on occasion, in addition Ms. Rasheeda Khatoon Principal GGDC No. 1 Abbotabad, Associate Professor Mumtaz Gillani and Associate Professor Yasmeen GGDC No. 1 Abbotabad and Professor Dr. Ghulam Qasim Marwat Principal GPGC Haripur also attended the occasion.

The Program was stated with the recitation from Holy Quran by Mr. Arif Shah, Course Coordinator FEF Academy. Dr. Mujeeb Tahir Director FEF Academy/Director Planning FEF presented the welcome note. Professor Dr. Himayat Ullah Khan Chairman BISE Abbotabad, highlighted the training course immense importance for the young participating trainees. He assure to provide all possible facilities for trainees.

After the Opening Ceremony Mr. Sajjad Principal (RITE) Haripur took the afternoon session on “Philosophy of Education” and also involved the trainees in group activity. On the 2nd training day Professor Dr. Ghulam Qasim Marwat Principal GPGC Haripur presented on the topic “Educational Policies of Pakistan”. The comprehensive session was held focus on ways and means to implement the education policy.
